WRS Tech’s Marine and Shipbuilding divisions are now delighted to be able announce that they were chosen to support work on the ultimate super yacht; Shemara, through providing temporary and permanent staff throughout the entire project. This 65 metre motor yacht, originally built in Southampton in the 30's and previously owned by Sir and Lady Docker during the 1960's, has been lovingly restored.
WRS Tech have been thrilled to be part of this process and have enjoyed working closely with and for the project team to help deliver the ambitious refit of Shemara which saw, where possible, original materials salvaged from the yacht.
Andrea Cox, Director of WRS Tech said, "We have been privileged to have been involved in the MY Shemara project. We have met such talented and passionate people across the breadth of the project that have carried out the work on this beautiful and historic yacht. This project has seen the most skilled craftsmen and women consistently working to the highest standards. The project has been an important show case of Shipbuilding abilities in the UK and the South Coast and we were glad to be a part of the process of building the MY Shemara team."
Everyone at WRS tech would like to congratulate everyone who worked on the Shemara and wish them all the best of luck on their future endeavours. We would also like to wish the crew happy sailing and the Owner and their family all the enjoyment that such a beautiful vessel can give.
